– The boys’ basketball team will look to clinch a playoff berth tonight at Hereford. Tuesday’s loss to Frenship bumped the Raiders into third place in district 3-4A, but the Raiders could retain second place by beating Hereford and Plainview, and having current no. 1 Frenship beat Plainview.
– Randall is currently hosting the Region I-4A wrestling meet. The Raiders have won this meet eight seasons in a row, and are looking to capture a ninth consecutive title with eight wrestlers competing in the meet. Hector Mendoza (106),Braun Marquez (113),Jacob Rubio (126), Chris Thompson (138), Donaven Roberts (160),Sebastian Branch (182), Joel Gallardo (220) are all competing. The top four wrestlers in each weight class will advance to state. Marquez, Roberts, and Rubio are all looking to make return trips to the state tournament.
