“I play Tenor Saxophone in the marching and concert band. Being part of band is a great experience because I’ve made a whole new family with all different types of people.  From the start of sixth grade to the end of my senior year, I have gotten to learn a new talent. Sometimes it’s hard getting up every morning and practicing, but what gets me through that slump is the joy that comes out of band.”
