The tennis team won both matches in their doubleheader against Tascosa and Lubbock High Saturday. They started the second half of district play with a 17-2 victory over the Rebles, then beat the Westerners 12-7. This moves the Randall team to 12-1 for the season and 5-1 in district play.

“It was a good start to the second half of district beating Tascosa and we carried that momentum over to the afternoon beating a tough Lubbock High team,” Coach Darby Norman said. “That was a big win for us because Lubbock High is a potential early round playoff opponent.”

The Raiders will travel to Plainview on Tuesday for another district match, followed by an in town match against Tascosa at Tascosa on Friday.
