The student section celebrates by holding up the G.O.A.T. trophy after last year’s game.

The annual Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T) football game against Canyon High will be Oct. 21, starting at 7 p.m. at Happy State Bank Stadium.

The G.O.A.T game is a tradition to celebrate the rivalry between Randall and Canyon. This will be the fourth year competing for the G.O.A.T. The school that wins the game gets the goat trophy and of course, bragging rights for the year. While the G.O.A.T. will be on the line, the game will also count in district competition.

Randall won the goat last year and players, such as junior Carson Barclay, are hopeful that the trophy will remain in Raider Nation after the Oct. 21 game.

“We have been working hard at all of our practices to make sure that we keep the goat trophy along with our teams status,” Barclay said.

The Raiders will go into the G.O.A.T. game with a handful of wins and a couple of losses.

The theme for the game is construction, neon or blackout.
