The girls’ and boys’ wrestling teams are competing at regionals today and tomorrow at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. both days.

“We are wanting to knock out as many teams in regionals as possible for a better chance at making it to state,” Assistant Coach Mark Fortner said. “Our goal for our wrestlers is to at least win their first two matches to make it to semi-finals.”

The teams competed at district at Amarillo High School this past weekend where the boys’ team took home the District Championship and the girls’ team finished in 4th place.

Multiple wrestlers placed in 1st and 2nd place in their individual weight division.
