Whining, obsessing and jealousy can run a guy off. Guys down want to be around a downer, most prefer a positive and happy spirit, someone to comfort and listen to them every once in a while. Obsessing over a guy is a quick ticket out of a relationship. Being cute and asking what’s going on, how their day was or why they haven’t answered or called is okay, but texting, calling, asking, getting down right to the point of following them and checking with their friends of what they were doing at one time gets creepy and annoying. Jealousy is a very touchy subject between boys and girls. It’s cute for a guy to become jealous over their girls guy friends, but when a guy talks to a girl in a certain way things can get ugly. Although men are territorial and protective, girls can turn into monsters with drama and gossip. Girls flirt, guys flirt, nobody admits it of course but everyone takes words differently and personally and worrying about creates problems. If a guy says they don’t want their girlfriend or wife hanging out with another guy, girls will take it personal and argue saying “but he’s just a friend”. When women want their man to stop talking or seeing a girl usually guys are fine with it and will stop, but in some cases think we are just over reacting and might continue talking/texting or hanging out with that girl. This is how rumors, drama and some relationships end. It’s best to not be too pushy, but let them know you care.
