Since Henry Ford created the Model T in 1908, automobiles have been a large part of American life. Many Americans own an automobile, and depend on it to transport them from place to place. Here are the top 10 top-selling cars during October 2013:

 

Number 10 is the Nissan Altima. There were 21,785 of these sold during the month of October.

Number nine is the Ford Escape. There were 22,253 sold in October.

Number eight is the Honda CR-V. There were 22,554 CR-Vs sold in October.

Seventh is the Toyota Corolla/Matrix. There were 23,637 of these sold in October.

Sixth is the Honda Accord. There were 25,162 of these sold during October.

Fifth is the Honda Civic. There were 27,328 Civics sold during the month of October.

Number four is the Toyota Camry, with 29,144 sold in October.

Number three is the Dodge Ram, with 29,846 sold in October.

Number two is the Chevrolet Silverado, with 42,660 sold in October.

The top selling car of October 2013 is the Ford F-Series pickups. There were 63,803 of these sold during this month.
