Toby Tucker was recently named the new CISD athletic director following former principal Steve Williams’ resignation. Williams held the position for seven months before resigning in December. Tucker has served as a principal, assistant superintendent, superintendent, and also has coaching experience. He previously worked at the Region 16 Education Support Center and is also a co-owner of the Amarillo Venom.
