Library aid Taylor Cassatt enjoys learning new things.

Cassatt has worked as a library aid for one year. She said she wanted to gain experience working in a school library.

“I chose this job because I wanted to learn about school libraries and see how they differ from other libraries,” Cassatt said.

In the West library, Cassatt’s job is to check out books, assist others with finding books, and remind students of when their book is overdue. Cassatt is currently preparing to go back to school to earn her master’s degree so she can become a librarian.

“I love working with all of the students and getting to know them,” Cassatt said.  “Getting to help our fantastic teacher’s is another plus.”
