Kelli Harter joined the Randall staff this year and teaches in the west choir room.

Choir teacher Kelli Harter is one of the newest faculty members to come to Randall. Harter, who is a Tascosa graduate, started working at Randall this year and said she was excited to join the Raider community.

“I always knew that I wanted to do something with the choir,” Harter said. “I was excited to bond relationships with students and make choir a memorable experience for them. I hope to be an influential person in their lives and give them confidence and unconditional love.”

In addition to working with students, Harter said she is enjoying working with her partner teacher Matthew Miller.

“He’s here to learn and I enjoy that,” Harter said. “I love working with him. He’s young and has a beautiful soul.”

Since coming to Randall, Harter said that she could not see herself doing anything else.

“I love being in the new choir room and trying new experiences that I’ve never done before for the choir,” Harter said.

Outside of school, Harter stays busy as a mother of two children. She also has a new puppy named Peanut and helps fund the ensemble organization for choir.
