“I’m a new student at Randall,” senior Emalay Fernandez said. “I recently moved from New York and I’m liking Texas so far. I’m very passionate about music. It calms me down and it brings me to a type of ‘peace.’ It puts me at ease and I focus more on things when there’s music playing. It brings my family together when we all listen to it and we all have a good time. Music helps me get through even the most stressful times, like coming to a new school, it helps me get through the day.”
