Mia Quintanilla is 15, a sophomore and claims she knows the secret to energy and tranquility.

Naps.

“Naps are good for you,” Mia said. “Everyone needs to nap at least once a day so you can have energy to get through the day.”

But, in Mia’s case, she takes three.

Mia said she naps three times a day, once in the morning, one in the afternoon and then just before dinner.

“My family works from 9 to 5, so I like to nap when no one is home,” Mia said.

After her early evening nap, she wakes to do homework then she goes back to bed for the night. On weekends, Mia said she often increases her naps to four per day.

“When life knocks you down, stay down there and take a nap,” Mia said.
