Speech team competes in UIL District Congress
Three members of the Speech and Debate Team are headed to state. Luke Brown, Sydney Gove and Sydney Tatum will compete for state May 23-25 at the University of Texas in Austin.
On April 21-22, seven members of the Speech and Debate Team competed at the UIL Regional competition at Texas Tech in Lubbock where Brown, Gove and Tatum advanced to the state meet.
Brown got the award of Persuasive Extemp Champion, where Gove qualified for state in Prose and Tatum qualified in Poetry. The Raiders also took home second place in team competition.
The Randall team is coached by Brooklynn Rainey.
