    Just for starters

There is very little going on in the world that people actually agree with. The problem is that nobody wants to say that they disagree. Society dictates how people think and in turn what they say. This means that if it isn’t “cool,” or as my classmates have decided to dub it, “Swag,” then you shouldn’t say it. Hi, my name is Kelli and I’m not your average 17 year old girl. I don’t listen to society’s opinions; I have my own. Not all people agree with them but that’s the point of an opinion. Benjamin Franklin once said, “If all printers were determined not to print anything until they were sure it would offend nobody, there would be very little printed.” I completely agree. And so I don’t censor my opinion like others do, I don’t listen to societal norms, and I don’t hold back. What I write here might not be the common opinion, but it is mine and I hope that my courage will be inspiring to those stuck in the social rut of copied, plastic, societal-written views. Take offense to what I write if you must, but just know, Somebody Has to Say It.
