So with the new year I have begun to work towards my goal of becoming social more efficiently. I was faced with a great opportunity as the second weekend of the new year I was invited to attend a horse judging contest in Cleburne, Texas. Up to the day we left town I dreaded leaving completely. Anyone who knows me ver well knows I prefer to be in my own town at my own house 90 percent of the time. Nevertheless, I packed my things and left with my team expecting the worst. Believe it or not, I ended up having a wonderful time. All in all, I actually enjoyed getting out of town with some friends whom I don’t normally spend a lot of time with. That’s a start I suppose!
