The Makey Makey “invention kit” is a two sided circuit board that allows you to create your own keyboard. The device works by using conductivity, a computer or laptop, and a few alligator cables. By connecting the device to a computer or laptop a plethora of pre-made coded programs are made available to you. And by connecting the alligator cables to the device and any object with conductive material, a keyboard can be made out of virtually anything. According to their website, the creators of the device Jay Silver and Eric Rosenbaum made the device because ” (they) believe that everyone is creative, inventive, and imaginative. We believe that everyone can create the future and change the world. So we have dedicated our lives to making easy-to-use invention kits.”
